Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to Thock: Keyboard Sounds (“Thock”, “the app”), a macOS menu bar app published by Tarik Belaid (“we”, “us”). By buying, downloading or using Thock, you agree to these terms.

Purchases

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments, taxes, invoices and receipts are managed by Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms.

Thock is sold as a one-time purchase of $4.99. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Prices shown on this site may change, but a change never affects a license you have already bought.

License

After payment, you receive a license key by email. Each license key activates Thock on one Mac at a time. You can move the license to another Mac from the app’s settings (Settings › License › Remove the license from this Mac). We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Thock. You may not resell, share, rent or redistribute the app or your license key, or try to bypass the license check.

If you lose your key, you can request it again from the support page. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the corresponding license key is deactivated.

Updates and support

Your purchase includes updates to Thock released for the same major version, and support by email at support@thock.online. Thock requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later · Apple silicon and Intel.

Sound recordings

The switch sounds included in Thock come from third-party recordings and remain the property of their respective authors. They are provided only for use inside the app.

Warranty and liability

Thock is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it working well, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or work with every Mac configuration. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damage resulting from the use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under applicable law.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
